We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and celebration of the new year!
Unfortunately, I (Rachel) was under the weather during NYE, so I was unable to partake in the festivities. Nevertheless, I was able to ring in the new year by watching the ball drop!
Quickly, before I show you some of our holiday endeavors, I wanted to give you a quick update on what’s new with us.
Ben has been given the opportunity to volunteer as an assistant basketball coach. He is doing this at a elementary Christian school that he used to go to himself, and coaching the 5th and 6th grade boys team.
There also have been some open doors for him to participate in other coaching opportunities, and we will surely share that with you once we know things are set in stone. Prayers for God’s guidance as he has seeming to have been putting these in Ben’s path, and for wisdom as we figure out what is best for us to fit in our time and schedules.
As well as that, prayers would be appreciate for my health. As I told you, I was sick during New Years. I have IBS, as some of you know, and it happened to flare up during this time. Praise God it hasn’t been that bad in a while! Thankfully it has seemingly passed, but unfortunately this weekend I got a runny nose cold. Though it’s not as bad as last week’s issue, it still really drains the energy from you, especially when I was tying to get my energy back from before. Let’s just say I am very, VERY worn out.
Prayers would be SO appreciated.
Moving on with a happy note, here are some pictures of our holiday festivities!
Thanks for reading and viewing our photos!
We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and that God speaks and shows himself to you and yours this new year more than ever!!
What are some holiday traditions that you and your family take part in?
Is there anything we can be praying for in your life?
